Hi, I’m Tara.

You’re thoughtful, self-aware, and carrying more than others realize. Perhaps you're experiencing anxiety, burnout, chronic overthinking, or a major life transition. Maybe you feel stuck in relationship patterns, questioning your identity, or wondering why the same challenges keep showing up in your life.

If you've found yourself asking, "Why does this keep happening?" or "Why do I still feel stuck?" you're not alone.

Together, we'll explore the patterns shaping your relationships, emotional world, and sense of self while building practical tools to manage stress, improve communication, and strengthen emotional resilience.

My approach goes beyond symptom management. We'll work to understand the root of what's keeping you stuck so you can create lasting change, develop healthier relationships, and move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and self-trust.

Therapy is not just about getting by. It's about building a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and aligned with who you are.

My Approach

My approach is grounded in relational, psychodynamic, CBT-integrative, person centered work with an emphasis on mindfulness, self awareness, and nervous system regulation .

Together, we won’t just identify patterns — we’ll work to understand where they come from and shift the cycle itself.

My goal is to help you move through life with more clarity, emotional security, and self-trust.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in high level corporate sales and leadership supporting and managing teams in fast paced, high pressure environments. This helps me especially support clients navigating career stress, burnout, perfectionism, relationship challenges, identity shifts, and difficulty balancing achievement and emotional well being.

I integrate:

  • Person Centered Therapy – creating a warm, supportive and nonjudgemental space where you feel heard, understood and empowered.

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) – helping you recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, behaviors, and emotional responses that may be keeping you stuck.

  • Mindfulness & Nervous System Regulation – building awareness of how stress and emotions show up in the body while developing grounding and coping strategies to create greater balance and resilience.

  • Trauma-Informed & Relational Approaches – exploring how past experiences, relationships, and patterns may continue to shape your current emotional experiences and relationships today.

What Working With Me Feels Like

Therapy with me feels grounded, insightful, direct, and authentic. I will always move at your pace.

Some moments in therapy call for slowing down and going deeper. Others call for skill-building, structure, and direct feedback.

I believe therapy can hold both depth and levity.

There is space here for honesty, reflection, humor, and genuine connection.

Above all, therapy with me is a partnership.

I bring clinical training, insight, and support.

You bring your lived experience, patterns, questions, and goals.

Together, we stay grounded in curiosity rather than judgment.

Frequently Asked Questions About Working With Tara

  • As a Clinical Fellow, I am completing my advanced clinical training while providing therapy under the supervision of licensed psychologists and senior clinicians at Gluck Psychology Collective.

This collaborative model allows clients to receive high-quality, evidence-based care while benefiting from ongoing consultation and support.

  • Clinical Fellows offer therapy at a lower rate as they complete their postgraduate training and supervised clinical hours. It's a great option for clients seeking quality therapy that is more financially accessible, while still receiving care within a highly supported group practice.

  • I work with adults across all life stages who are navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, stress, and chronic overthinking. I especially enjoy working with high-achieving professionals who want to better understand themselves and create lasting change.

  • Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss what's bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any patterns or challenges you've been experiencing. Together, we'll begin creating a plan tailored to your unique needs and values.

  • Before becoming a therapist, I worked in corporate sales and leadership, managing teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. That experience gives me a firsthand understanding of workplace stress, burnout, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, leadership challenges, and the pressure to constantly perform. I enjoy helping clients navigate career transitions, build healthier work-life balance, set boundaries, and reconnect with their values so success doesn't come at the expense of their well-being.
