Hi, I’m Danielle.
Life can feel uncertain in the in-between moments, when old patterns no longer fit, but the next step isn’t clear.
Maybe something in your life has changed, and you’re struggling to figure out what comes next. Maybe you’re navigating a new relationship, dating, a career transition, a move, or a shift in how you see yourself. Or perhaps nothing feels particularly “wrong,” but you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what you really want.
You may find yourself caught in relationship patterns that feel difficult to break, overthinking conversations long after they happen, questioning your decisions, or struggling to set boundaries. You might understand yourself well and spend a lot of time reflecting, but still wonder why you keep ending up in the same places.
Maybe you’ve even found yourself asking, “Why does this keep happening?” or “Why do I know what I want to do, but still feel stuck?”
That’s where our work begins.
Together, we’ll explore:
the patterns shaping your relationships and the ways you connect, communicate, and respond to others
how anxiety, overthinking, or self-criticism may be affecting your relationships and everyday life
how past experiences and family dynamics continue to influence the way you see yourself and relate to others
how life transitions and identity shifts are impacting your sense of stability, direction, and self-worth
the boundaries, expectations, and relationship dynamics that may be leaving you feeling disconnected or overwhelmed
practical tools for navigating difficult emotions, communication, boundaries, and everyday stress
what it could look like to move forward with greater clarity, intention, and connection
Our focus is on understanding you and the patterns underneath what you’re experiencing, not simply treating the symptom or solving the immediate problem.
When we can understand where a pattern comes from and what keeps it going, we can begin to create more choice in how we respond.
This is therapy for people who want more than coping. It’s for those who want to understand themselves more deeply, build healthier relationships, and feel more grounded in who they are.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start.
We can start wherever you are.
My Approach
My approach is relational, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I believe that our relationships, with ourselves and with the people around us, can offer important insight into the patterns that shape our emotional lives.
Together, we’ll explore not only what is happening in the present, but also how your past experiences may be connected to the challenges you’re facing today. We’ll get curious about the patterns you’ve developed, the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself, and whether those strategies are still serving you.
I also believe therapy should be both meaningful and practical. Understanding yourself more deeply is an important part of change, but so is having tools that help you navigate anxiety, difficult conversations, boundaries, and everyday stress.
My background in education continues to inform the way I work: with curiosity, patience, warmth, and a belief that people are capable of meaningful growth when they feel supported enough to explore what is underneath the surface.
I integrate:
Relational & Psychodynamic Therapy — Exploring how your relationships, early experiences, and emotional patterns have shaped the way you understand yourself and connect with others.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — Identifying thought and behavior patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, self-criticism, and feeling stuck, while developing more flexible ways of responding.
Mindfulness & Emotion Regulation — Developing greater awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences so you can respond with more intention rather than automatically reacting.
What Working With Me Feels Like
Therapy with me feels warm, collaborative, curious, honest, and grounded.
I move at your pace. Some moments in therapy call for slowing down and going deeper, sitting with an emotion, exploring a relationship, or making sense of a pattern that has been difficult to understand.
Other moments call for structure and practical support. We might work on communication, boundaries, managing anxiety, or finding a different way to respond to something that keeps coming up.
I believe therapy can hold both depth and levity. Therapy can be serious and vulnerable, but there is also room for humor, celebration, and genuine connection.
Above all, therapy with me is a partnership.
You bring your lived experience, your questions, your patterns, and your goals. I bring clinical training, curiosity, relational insight, and support.
Together, we’ll stay grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what’s happening in your life, understand yourself with greater compassion, and begin to feel more confident in how you move through the world.
