EVALUATIONS

Short-Term Disability & Mental Health Leave Evaluations in NYC

We understand that mental health challenges can impact various areas of your life, whether it’s navigating work, socializing, travel, or daily activities. Sometimes, additional support is needed to help manage these challenges, whether through medical leave from work or school, an Emotional Support Animal (ESA), or other accommodations. We offer thorough evaluations conducted by our founding psychologist, Dr. Gluck to help guide you toward the support that works best for you.

Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Evaluations

If you're considering an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) to support your emotional well-being, we can help. ESAs provide comfort, stability, and relief, assisting you with life's stresses.

Our evaluation process includes a detailed clinical assessment to determine if an ESA is appropriate for you.

If eligible, you’ll receive a formal ESA letter that can be used for housing accommodations and travel.

Medical Leave Evaluations

If you're needing medical leave from work or school due to mental health concerns, we offer extensive mental health evaluations to assess your needs and provide the necessary documentation in 1-2 days.

Our process involves a comprehensive assessment to determine how your mental health may be impacting your ability to work or function daily.

Once we understand your specific situation, we can provide the required documentation to support your medical leave request.

Here’s How it Works

Our evaluation process typically takes 1-2 sessions and includes:

  • Clinical Mental Health Assessment: We’ll explore your emotional and psychological needs in a thoughtful, thorough assessment.

  • Eligibility Determination: We’ll discuss how a formal letter could provide support and ensure all necessary criteria are met.

  • Formal Support Letter: Once eligible, you’ll receive a formal letter that can be used for medical leave, housing accommodations, and travel (24-48 hour turnaround).

We’re here to make the process easy, professional, and supportive.

If you believe an evaluation could improve your quality of life, we’ll guide you every step of the way to ensure you get the support you need.
